Chris received the B.S., M.S., and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2009, 2012, and 2017, respectively. His PhD research focused on the development of integrated and low-power millimeter-wave receiver front-ends for CubeSat-based atmospheric sounding radiometers using Silicon-Germanium (SiGe) heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) integrated circuit technologies. He interned with the Microwave Instruments and Technology Branch at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center each summer from 2012–2015 and at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Fall 2014. Chris was a recipient of an inaugural NASA Space Technology Research Fellowship in 2011. He has authored or coauthored 24 publications to date. In April 2017 Chris joined the Advanced Concepts Laboratory at GTRI as a Research Engineer. His research focuses on developing microwave and millimeter-wave sensor electronics for CubeSats and small satellites, with an emphasis on custom silicon-based integrated circuits.
